Trevor Gorman

Technical Consultant

About: Trevor Gorman enters his sixth season as head men's soccer coach for the University at Albany Great Danes. He anchored a coaching staff that was named the America East Coaching Staff of the Year. Gorman was an assistant at Wright State for one season prior to being hired at UAlbany. He also coached at the club level with the Ohio Galaxies and the Upper Valley Lightning in Hanover, N.H.

From 2007-09, Gorman was an assistant at Dartmouth College. Gorman played for his father at Penn State University where he was a midfielder on the 2002 Big Ten Conference championship squad and a pair of NCAA teams. After earning All-Academic Big Ten honors his senior season, Gorman enrolled in graduate school at the University of North Carolina. Gorman, who has a B.A. in business management, has a sports publicity background, having worked in Penn State's sports information office. He assisted at the NCAA Men's and Women's College Cups and the Atlantic Coast Conference men's and women's soccer tournaments. In addition, Gorman was a sideline reporter for Fox Soccer Channel's college broadcasts. Gorman, who holds a NSCAA Premier Coaching Diploma, earned a master's degree in exercise and sport science with an emphasis in sport administration from North Carolina.


Jake Boland

Director of Grassroots Program

About: Jake holds a NSCAA Premier Coaching Diploma and USSF D License. He is the director of the BWP Grassroots Program which includes Summer Camps and Youth Academies that run throughout the soccer season.  Jake has a BA in Philosophy, Polics and Law from Binghamtom University, a graduate of Shaker High School and fomer collegiate player for Plattsburgh University. Jake is also a member of the technical staff coaches at BWP Albany.

The BWP Administrative Team main objectives are to support the BWP Technical Staff, the implementation of our programming and the needs of our Club membership. BWP executes the day-to-day operations of the Club’s business.

Black Watch Premier (BWP) is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization recognized in New York State. The BWP Board of Trustees meets regularly to give guidance, create policy and give general oversight to the programming of the Club’s business.
